Hi, I'm 15 yrs old and I have a pretty big bottom and tummy. (other than that I'm pretty normal). What are some ways I can make lose the fat around there?

I tried doing sit ups but I only got up to about 100 every day before I got really dizzy and it didn't help.

I usually play tennis for an hour every week, I go ice-skating but that's about all the sportsI do if you don't count the sports which I do at school (for about 2 hours every week). I sometimes go swimming (like once every 3 weeks)

I can't run because the neighbourhood I live in is not very safe.

I want to do some exercises everyday at home but I don't know what to do.

thank you!

Try to do more cardio, this is the workout that makes you sweat. Get a dvd to practice at home or if you can buy a dance mat. Also try not to think that exercise is something that you have to set a specific time out for. Any type of activity will burn calories from climbing stairs to hoovering. So try and help out a bit more at home not only will you lose weight but your bedroom will be a lot tidier. If you can get of a bus stop ealier or ask your perants to drop you of and walk the rest of the way to school.

Also look at your diet. From what you are describing as your 'problem' areas you mostlickly have fluid retention which means there is to much salt in your diet, Try to cut back not ban but cut back on the amount of processed food you eat (crisps, chocalete, canned food, fizzy drinks and ready made meals). And drink more water and freshly squeezed fruit juice.

since we cant spot reduce body fat it just has to be overall weight (fat) loss achieved by healthy diet and cardio which is the only fat burning exercise.
dont do sit ups and crunches because all they do is build muscle (they dont burn any fat) and will make your belly look bigger.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise (jogging, rope jumping, dancing, swimming, aerobic videos etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

The best I've seen out there is a book I just finnished reading. It has everything for your body and what programs to do to get the effects you want. Has illustrations too so you can follow and meals etc.. all good for the body. and has the butt your asking about too inside and more.

I recommend Sly moves You can buy it at amazon.com

Definately worth it in my opinion.

Good luck
