Some "best friend" that would make you...

I highly advise against it, and I urge you to examine what "best friend" means, including the parts about honesty, loyalty, and trust.

That depends on the situation. Make your stand clear OR get the boy to make his stand clear. Perhaps all three should just sit and talk these out.
No point going round your best friend's back. For all you know the boy may do the same to you and date othyer girls behind your back too.
Straighten it out and you will have a healthy relationship both with your best friends and the boy.

take care

Never!

I was in your situation once. I thought the guy was exceptional and would have killed to date him. But he was my best friend's boyfriend..and later ex...so I said no.
Years later I asked her what she'd have done if I'd gone out with him, after she broke up with him and was with someone else. She said, "I'd have been hurt. I'd have hated you." I said, "Even after you broke up?" She said, "Yes, because I couldn't forget him even though it didn't work."
Guys will come and go, but a best friend is forever....if you value your friendship that is.

And think of this...if it is a test and you blow it...you'll be branded a whore. Is it worth it?

And finally...if he's such a dog that he'd hurt his girlfriend...is this really a guy you want to date? How long before he does the same thing to you?

(BTW, don't tell her...he could just claim you came on to him and then she'll accuse you of trying to break them up. Keep it quiet until after they are broken up...because if he's a rat it will happen sooner or later. If you have to tell her, tell her in the future. Personally, I'd just keep it to myself and tell him to go to H***)

I wouldn't they are not even broken up yet and if u are doing all this behind her back then u r being unloyal. it will really hurt her feelings and she might not even want to be your friend anymore. how would u like it if you had a bf and then one day he just dumped u for your best friend???? nobody likes there man taken from them, and its the worst when it is ur bestfriend doin it.

If you hope some day that your best friend will steal your man from behind your back, then go right ahead. If you think that might hurt, then maybe it would be best to forget her man.

NO! NO! NO! Why would you even ask that!?! If you are a true best friend you wouldn't even considered it!! He is a loser for asking you. What you need to do is tell your friend what he did and have her kick him to the curb. But don't you go and try to pick him up!! If you love your friend then you will say no and tell her ASAP!!

If you accept then she isn't really your BEST-FRIEND and if he can ask you out BEHIND her back then he's not worth the friend-ship you are so willing to lose. Just think maybe you'll have another friend that he'll fancy.

The unwritten law.Don't mess with your girlfriend guy.Tell him if he wants to date you he will have to break off with your friend. If he wants to meet you behind her back,he is looking for a booty call.He is not worth it.He will do it to you later on.She means nothing to him,and you will be in her shoes, but without your best friend.Open your eyes, and look away from him. Pass this one up.Where I'm from (Texas) this a shooting offense.

If she is your best friend, she won't be for long if you try to take her boyfriend. a good friend is hard to find, so you better think about this. You will get a bad reputation started if you start trying to steal other girls' boyfriends.
