If the kitten has a nice solid round belly - it's getting enough milk.
Don't stress too much if you can feel ribs, but if it's belly is solid & round it's doing OK

Definantly consult a vet. She won't move around much at that age. A healthy newborn will sleep all the time and occasionally make mewling sounds when disturbed. Try picking her up, if she starts fidgeting or crying then she should be healthy. Signs of stress are stiffness of the legs and head and extreme shivering, or not reacting/moving at all. Check out how mom acts, if she is tending to the kitten, grooming and purring, thats good. Try trimming hair around her nipples so you can see the kitten nurse, and its easier for her to get to the milk. Good luck:)

The kitten will have a nice round belly, be warm, and sleep a lot without crying. Weigh it every day--a thriving kitten will put on weight (in grams) each day. If the mother is going into the box and taking care of it, I wouldn't worry too much. :)

Let the mother cat take care of it. I'm sure it's getting enough milk, my cats have had lots of kittens and none died of starvation.

The kitten would not be putting on weight..and would cry all the time.. have a look at his tummy see if it's full.. see if the kitten is not dehydrated...pull the skin up if it stays up for a sec it could be dehydrated...Just watch when mum is feeding them. to see how long he suckles for.or if mum pushes him away...Good luck

in the event that they are consistently crying then i might say that No they do no longer seem to be getting adequate to devour. first of all, what number kittens does she have. She could have milk yet no longer adequate for a great clutter. Are all the kittens crying or only one. If its in easy terms one then there may be some thing incorrect with that one kitten like according to hazard its the runt and keeps getting pushed away by the bigger ones. If there grow to be some thing bodily incorrect with certainly one of them then the mummy might probably discard it. If the entire clutter is screaming then she in basic terms would not have adequate milk to bypass around. you are able to help by supplementing their nutrition with kitten milk re-placement or goats milk. i like goats milk extra effective. it particularly is nutritious, it won't reason the themes that cows milk motives (in no way use cows milk) and kittens seem to love the flavor extra effective than kitten milk alternative additionally, i've got got here upon that maximum kittens hate those stupid bottles that contain the kitten milk alternative. They hate the nipples, they are too stressful or some thing. i might use a delicate textile and dip the nook of it interior the milk and enable them to suck it off or a syringe and drop by drop positioned it in there mouths. some regulations of feeding kittens. in no way carry them the different way up together as feeding or they are going to choke. enable them to lie on their abdomen and in basic terms carry their head up. in no way feed a chilly kitten or the nutrition will in basic terms rot of their abdomen and kill them. make confident they are heat first. enable the mummy proceed to guard them because of the fact she does extra desirable than in basic terms feed them. in basic terms help her alongside. in the event that they do no longer seem to be dropping weight then they could have been chilly or some thing. shop them in a heat dry place. according to hazard they choose somewhat extra warmth. you need to use a heating pad yet do no longer positioned it promptly below them. Have some thing between them and the pad and supply them adequate space that they could get off of it in the event that they like to. I raised suitable coach Abysinnian cats for some years and that i've got consistently used goats milk over kitten alternative. pretty as a complement.

If mama is well hydrated and healthy and active, and the baby is active then stop worrying. If baby wasn't getting enough milk one or both of them would look bad.
