It depends on the guy, Lins. The way to some guys heart is with quality time, some by gifts, and then others by food (service). The way to my heart is through quality time. I like it when someone cooks for me, but I'm not bowled over by it. Maybe that's because I can cook. But I think quality time would still be my trigger even if I couldn't cook. I will agree, however, that it is nice when a spouse can cook and enjoys it.

It is difficult to get evidence for this. For most men, food is food, and so long as it's just food, they won't really say anything about it. If you're an AWESOME cook, they will notice, and ask, and be duely impressed that you made that awesome food. If you're just a cook, well, a lot of guys can cook just as well these days.
If you can't cook at all, that's like a serious handicap. especially if the guy does know how to cook, it's like, "I can do it, what's wrong with you?" If you've got other charms, then maybe they;ll let it slip, but it will nag at them like a little white lie on the first date.
However, as guys get older, and more crumudgeony, they worry more about money, they like to go out less, and they prefer to eat at home more. As this condition progresses, guys realize more and more just how convenient it is that their woman can cook, and doesn't have to spend that extra cash (they''ll know exactly how much cash) to get food somewhere else. At that point, they will rate cooking skills right up there with looks, and will probably be pushing for a date at home.

I love when a girl can cook! But it is not a way to his heart in my opinion. Maybe if you are into beefy guys. Being fun and knowing when to stop talking would both be above cooking. And I'm not even going to get into the physical relationship stuff.

I really think so. I used to didn't care that I didn't take much of an interest in cooking in my past relationships but now that I am in a great relationship and know that he likes certain things, I have taken an interest in cooking and want to know how to make the things he likes.

Well so far I have found no girl that can cook better than me. They all just want to go to the restaurant. Heck, I KNOW what goes on in the kitchen and it is scary.
But it is not the only feature that I am looking at....and I am looking. Bright, funny , a good coversationalist, healthy, outgoing,
