I know I am overweight, and I could stand to lose a few, but according to the BMI, I need to lose almost 100 lbs, and at my healthiest where I was a size 7, I was 145 lbs. I just want to know if the BMI chart is acurate for ALL builds.

dont look at BMI and not even the scale because what really matters is your muscle mass and body fat percentage (which should be under 25%)
skinny person might have low bmi which says she is underweight but actually is not fit at all and has relatively high body fat percentage.

It can be grossly inaccurate, especially the ones that only take into account height, weight, and sex. What is much more accurate is an assessment of body fat ratio. Even that can't be done with just an on-line quiz, there are so many variables, such as frame size and muscle mass.

Can you pinch flab? If so, improve your diet and/or increase your activity level. If not, don't worry about it. BTW, don't try to lose ALL of your padding, being underweight can really mess with your body too.

When it comes down to it, do you FEEL healthy?

No, the bmi calculators are not accurate for all people. Most websites with bmi calculators also recommend seeing your doctor instead. They are not aware of all builds, and cannot give you an exact reading.

No.. the BMI says I'm underweight. Even though I'm actually trying to build muscle by lifting and consuming all the healthy food in sight.

don't bother with BMI or weight charts. Look at yourself in the mirror. do you like your body shape? if so, then the hell with BMI. there's nothing wrong with an athletic & muscular woman.
