I advise that you try some of the following. These have helped me when ever I get anxious:
- Taking a bubble bath (I know it sounds babyish but it works)
- Try not to drink or consume anything with caffine or a lot of sugar
- Meditate
- Scented oils (but don't mix too many or overuse them)
- Ginger tea may also work (no caffine)
- Chamomile or lavender scented candles or oils work best
- Distract yourself if you can
- Talk to someone about it, even if you feel like crying or dying, it works
- Breathe slowly or try taking a deep breath and count the seconds that took you, then exhale for twice the amout as it took you to inhale (or at least try to do that, if you can't, inhale, hold breath for 10 seconds and then exale slowly and reapeat until you feel better)
I hope that this has helped you.

When you change your breathing, you change your body chemistry and also the way you feel. So when you get anxious, take a deep breath in and count to 4, then exhale to the count of 8. Make sure your breath out is twice as long as your inhale. This works for me, and will for you, too.

Do something to take your mind of whatever is bothering you. Walking or jogging always works for me. You may also try so deep breathing exercises. Breath in and out slowly. Best Wishes.

Concentrate on your breath. Breathe in very slowly, hold for 4 seconds, then breathe out very slowly. Think a "mantra" as you do this, such as "I'm breathing in strength and confidence" and "I'm exhaling all the bad things." Use something that fits your situation.
