Sometimes when people know they can "push your buttons" they'll use this tactic against you...yeah, it's childish, but they still do it, and it works. So it's helpful, for your own sanity, to pretend it's not having any effect on you (even though it is). The trick is to do this convincingly enough that they believe it's no longer an issue with you, and they'll eventually stop (or if they're really immature, they'll move on to the next thing they think will piss you off). Which brings me to my last point: if you're having nonsense arguments so frequently, maybe you're not very well suited to each other. People that really care about you don't threaten to have sex with someone else when they don't get their way. Food for thought.

Hello dear!
When I was little I was watching a movie about the life of Michaelangalo, the great artist and scientist. He was painting the Capella Sixtina with designs he did not like, so he was not performing as well as he wanted. One night he went to some tavern. The owner opened a new barrel. One complained it was rotten, become vinegar. The owner said: the rotten wine we throw away! I was socked! No, we make it vinegar, why to destroy that?
This is me, but in human relations, most likely we should act like the owner not like my concept!
