Well, he's kinda omnibusy cleaning up another fine mess in one of the outer arms of the Andromeda Galaxy. 2000 years is nothing to this guy. In the year 4545, if man is still alive, I'll ask him. Oh, wait a minute, I'll be dead by then. Never mind.

Apparently they think that God will actually answer them if they die. Even though nowhere does it state that God will suddenly start speaking English when the body dies.
But I think that the actual meaning is that when we die we will at least understand some of the answers to our questions, and that gives some comfort in the face of the fear of death that nearly all of us feel.
