Well, Sikh men have beards and generally wear turbans. Unless they don't observe that part of the religion.

If they have a mark on their forehead, they are probably Hindus.

Some Muslim women at least wear something to cover their hair, some cover their faces, and some Muslim women don't do either one. Some Muslim men wear a head covering but not every Muslim man does this.

I can't tell what religion anybody is other than that unless they are wearing certain clothing or religious symbols on jewelry, etc. If they are dressed like everybody else there is no way to tell.

My wife is a Hindu but she doesn't wear the dot (tika) except for certain religious events and doesn't wear traditional clothes except at temple.

Only if they're orthodox members of their religion.

A Hindu woman might wear a marriage dot on her forehead. A Muslim man might wear traditional cap and a woman a head scarf or veil. Sikhs usually sport turbans and don't cut their hair.

But again, that only goes for the religious. You won't be able to tell the difference between Westernized, nonreligious members of these religions. Example, they'll all look Indian if they all come from India.

yes. a sikh man will wear a turban (usually), and a musliom woman will always wear a scarf (usually), and hindu men and women usually have a bindi on (a red or decorative marking on their forehead). otherwise the only way to know the difference is to be able to distinguish people based on their features. but this is usually something you have to grow up with.

Ummm ... nope. Also can't tell the difference between a Catholic, a Jew, or just about any other denomination, except the Hari Krishna. The saffron robes and flowers for sale are a dead give-away.
