homosexual christian makes as much sense as alcoholic christian or sinful christian. all christians try to follow Jesus. 'gay' christian might be a problem if that means 'gay identity' is more important than 'christian'.

The only clear quotes against homosexuality occur in the Old Testament. Christians don't have to pay attention to those laws (or do you avoid cotton-poly blends and keep kosher?). The other quotes are much less clear. The translation's a bit tricky, and they could easily refer to temple rites or the ancient world's practise of older men taking sexual advantage of boys. They probably don't refer to normal homosexual relationships that occur between equal partners. So a gay Christian would be fine.

If that person calling themself a Homosexual Christian trusted God, then he or she is a saved Homosexual Christian. Are you having trouble with this?
