Santini
Italian: patronymic form of Santino.
Santino
Italian: from the personal name Santino, a pet form of Santo.
Santo
Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese: from the personal name Santo, from santo ‘holy’. In some instances the surname may have arisen from a nickname for a pious individual.
Americanized spelling of Hungarian Szántó (see Szanto).
Now you will have to do the research to make sure yours connects to Italy. Remember names change, always follow the individual. and that should point you in the right direction. Hope this helps :)

Surname "origins" are meaningless if they're not yours, and if they're yours you know already either your family history or that you need to go about researching YOUR family. Not be throwing darts in the dark at someone else's.
Genealogy is about researching dead ancestors.

It is Italian and it comes from the first name Santo. It is possibly connected to someone who is acting like a saint or who has connection with relgious things (a sacristan).
