to build a $20,000. car from scratch if you were to buy each part seperate from the dealers parts dept? Now how much would it be if you had the dealers mechanics put it together from scratch, again buying all the parts from the parts dept?

well, this is all assuming that the parts are available.
20000 car like a taurus...
75000 for the parts individually
20000 for the labor.

Depends on the car. The older cars are easier to build.
