No. As a Christian myself I refuse to believe that God would not let one of his children into Heaven because of who they love.
And DZE "No way to walk in God's light & live in sin at the same time" You must not thow the first stone since you are as much as a "sinner" and live in as much "sin" as Bobby Jo & Erin because all "sins" are equal!!!! So stop thinking you are better than them!
(Please note that I do not view loving someone of the same sex as a sin...I think it is quite the normal and wonderful)

Your scenario is well stated but flawed.
Hear this now, people enter Heaven ONE at a time.
You can not piggyback nor walk arm in arm on the beliefs of another, into God's Paradise. Each person enters by their own profession of faith of Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Put another way, what "Bob" believes won't help "Erin" on her day of judgment. And likewise in reverse.
Next, a "devout Christian" would understand the difference between "my will" and "Thy will" be done, as it relates to what God accepts or condemns.
Finally, on the supposition that "Bobby Jo" truly was Christian and simply chose to live in sin, she would answer to God for her decisions and God would deal with her justly. As He would with "Erin" as well.
You don't go to Hell for being lesbian.
You go to Hell for rejecting Jesus Christ.

"Bob is a devout Christian, goes to church, and has accepted Christ.
There's one catch: Bob and Erin are lesbians. Bob is short for Bobby Jo. "
Bob is not a devout Christian. Part of accepting Christ is turning away from your sin.

Unfortunately, you can't just be a Christian by saying you're a Christian. It would be nice if it were that simple. You can't "do" your way into heaven. You can't "say" your way into heaven. You can only "be" your way into heaven. Part of being a Christian is being forgiven of your sins and not sinning any further. In your scenario, they do not sound like they've repented and truly given themselves to Christ. Lots of "good" people wind up in heaven. Being "good" isn't enough.

I cant find it on my G.P.S the answer is simple there is no such place as heaven or hell these are consequences made up to control what people say and do.I grew up having the Bible beat into my head I was told I was the only way...........Wrong...... One of the classic problems that people bring up is; How can a God of love send anybody to hell?
First off, God doesn't send anybody to hell, you send yourself there. God has done everything He can to keep you out of hell and still leave you as a person with free will. That's the way he made us-after His image, after His likeness, the power to say ' yes ' or the power to say ' no ', the power to reject our own creator, and of course to take the consequences.
Christ has set up a road-block in the form of Cross. In order to get to hell, we have to travel past that cross.
We have a catalog of sins; rape, homosexuality, incest, and murder, among the many, which we have cataloged and classified- but there isn't one of them that even come close to the sin of keeping Jesus Christ out of our life. Did Jesus say, " I'm going to send the Holy Spirit to convict the world of sin because they rob banks " or, " because they believe not on me "?
It is folly that you or I can trifle with the Lord Jesus and not have a penalty attached to it. What ridiculous thinking people have in this area! We expect penalties for doing much less.
If you jump off a high building, the law of gravity will take care of you. You might say, " God is love, " all the way down, but you're still going to get splattered when you hit the bottom! You break the law of gravity, and it breaks you! Your love your kid, but if he puts his finger on that hot stove, he's going to get burned!
Fire burns. Gravity kills. Water drowns. And you can say, " God is love, God is love, " until your blue in the face. But water will still drown you, fire will still burn you, and gravity will still kill you, and SIN will damn you no matter how much you say about a loving God.
God just set up life that way. He set up rules. He set up laws by which we are to live by, and if we break those laws, they break us.
The Bible says that God created hell for the devil and his cohorts (Matthew 25:41), that He is "...not wishing for any [person] to perish but for all to come to repentance." (11Peter 3:9), and that He has done everything possible to save us from that terrible place. Yet in the end God will not violate or overrule the deliberate choice of those who consciously and willfully turn away from Him.
" For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged already; he who does not believe has been judged already....." ( John 3:16-19)
Hope this answers your question. God Bless.

Who says there is a heaven or hell? It's what you believe and what your faith is. I agree with an earlier answer that says you are asking for a war when asking this question, whether you mean to or not.
My personal opinion is no but that's simply what I believe and I don't feel the need to prove to anyone why I believe that because if someone believes they will go to hell... me arguing with them, is that really going to change their mind? Doubtful. So why bother?

Not up to me to decide. The big guy has already weighted in on that one and he says it's a sin. He also said lying, cheating, and premarital sex are sins... all of which I am guilty of. I asked God to forgive me of all those and he said ok. So I guess if they ask for God's forgiveness then he will give it. However, you can't go back to your old ways, you must try to repent.
So long story short... Whoooo, Glad I don't have to make that call. It's not up to me, so I don't judge.
