If it is a red you can recork it & drink it the next day, a couple of days it would be best used in roast or spaghetti. A white should be recorked & placed in the refrigerator. People are all different. A good bottle of red wine will not lose it's flavor overnight on a counter. As I mentioned above, recork it.

Many wines are served unchilled...the problem is the loss of oxygen, but not a big deal, it just changes the taste a bit. If you don't de-aerate the bottle before you put it in the fridge, however, you are used to a less oxygenated wine anyways.

You can leave wine open and out for while. I think some are obsessed with germs and things going bad. It is perfectly safe to drink.

i could desire to repeat the loads of concerns that have been suggested already approximately storage of opened wine, despite the fact that that could desire to be redundant. it is what they omitted: inspite of the incontrovertible fact that wine shouldn't ever be predicted to have the equivalent flavor because it did in the previous than being recorked, think approximately to look on the varietal your are eating. case in point, in case you have been speaking of a chianti or zinfandel, you are going to be dropping alot of that dry, alright style that makes it that form of wine. on your case, you have gotten a pinot noir, the lightest of the crimson wine varietals. you have an fragrant, fruity wine a sturdy thank you to start to lose that is sweetness. My suggestion to you is that in case you absolutly at the instant are not waiting to end a bottle of wine in a unmarried sitting (not by using skill of your self, in basic terms in case you have leftover), the friendly element to do is chew the bullet and use it for a incredibly spiced arriabita tomato sauce or beef stew the subsequent night time.

There is nothing wrong with the wine... it just won't taste the same. But it certainly did not spoil.

You might feel a difference on the taste because of oxygen. But the biggest problem would be flies.....

do it all the time. should be OK. might have oxidized a bit, so flavor might not be exactly the same as night before, but still fit for drinking.
