You ask "Is language barrier a cause of the lack of education"?

Well, a person who is being educated in a language NOT his native tongue needs to get fluent in that language as FAST AS POSSible. That means TOTAL IMMERSION in the target language.

If the family sends the kids to a school where the taught language is not the one used at home, then the kids are at a disadvantage. But, there are remedies:

Outside classes for the kids and the adults (a MUST for the parents if the parents want the kids to improve)

Decision to actively promote the school's language. The parents should encourage the school's language in social events and not rely on the children to 'interpret' for the parent during shopping and stuff.

Lack of education is NOT the school's fault. It is the one being educated who is to blame if the stuff is not being learned.

Ya know what, i wish the whole world could just speak ONE language. i'm tired of learning and HAVE to learn Spanish in school/college, its not like i'll use it. i almost went crazy in that class.

but of course it will lack education, how is the student going to learn anything if they can't understand the language they are reading and hearing?

it would be alittle dumb for a foreign student to go to an english school and just sit there and TRY to figure things out. thats like me moving to japan and sitting in class while the teacher speaks japanese all day.

yes.. people have "the talking needs" which hard to be fulfilled if they couldnt speak foreign language... and if the needs don't get fulfilled, it will impact something (like you mentioned before).
