I am trying to eat a breakfast that will fill me up until lunch.
So what is the most filling healthy cereal you can eat?
If you have any other suggestions for a very filling and satisfying (but pretty low in calorie) healthy breakfast, go ahead and say it.

Please do not say fiber one. I am so sick of it!

Thank you :)

Grape Nuts. Take them and mix them with yogurt. They taste great that way and fill you up quickly also.

The yogurt softens the crunchy grape nuts. Great stuff and nutritious too.

What is a Healthy Breakfast? A healthy breakfast should contain some protein and some fiber. Protein can come from low fat meats, eggs, beans, or soy. Fiber can be found in whole grains, vegetables and fruits. A good example of a healthy breakfast might be something simple like a hard boiled egg, an orange, and a bowl of whole grain cereal with low fat milk. Stay away from the sugary cereals, syrups, pastries, and white breads because they are digested quickly and will leave you hungry and tired in a couple of hours. Protein and fiber satisfy your hunger and will keep you feeling full until lunch time.

Eat like a king for breakfast: the body actually needs fat to feel full. Make you a sausage with eggs or bacon with eggs. The next meal(lunch)should be your big meal of the day, but not as heavy as the sausage or bacon, meaning lean meat, lots of veggies, potatoes or pasta/rice.
For supper you should eat like a peasant: very light. Eating like that will actually help you maintain your weight, it will keep you full until lunch, and best of all, you don't have to be stuck on the typical breakfast foods I've had potatoes with eggs, onions, green peppers, and smoked sausage for lunch, but sometimes eat the same thing for breakfast.
If it has to be cereal:
Regular oatmeal is probably the most filling. It does not have added sugars, it naturally has fats that fill you up, and it is also good for you, because it keeps cholesterol in check.

Whole grain cereals are better because they contain more . . . uh . . . well more of what you said not to mention. Anyway they are better.

You'll laugh but I think hot cereals are better at keeping you going until lunch. Most cereals out of a box that you eat cold with milk are mostly air and sugar.

You can get any kind of whole grain--wheat, oats, barley, etc. etc. Grind it coarsely in a coffee-grinder. Pour boiling water over it and put it in the microwave for two or three minutes. Sprinkle some sugar over it, maybe some raisins, maybe some cinnamon. That's good stuff! Solid nutrition too. And really CHEAP (like me!)

They make hot cereals like this, minimally processed, no chemicals or anything, and that's just what they are, whole grains cut up a little to let the water get in.

Fiber is filling and stays with you longer than the sugary cereals. So I would suggest that you go to the store and start searching for cereals that are high in fiber. There are other cereals out there besides Fiber One.

i would say a few that they sell at trader joes, dont know the names, but they have nuts and oats in them which keep u full. also, the best thing is eating an omelette. its easy, i just sautee cut up bell peppers of different colors with some cut up onion(sometimes mushrooms too). then u add the mixed up raw eggs into the pan, and let it sit. then flip. it keeps u full all the way until lunch and then some. its because of the eggs protein. even just a hard boiled egg or two is good.
