My perscription says "Sphere -1.00" for both eyes and "Cylinder -0.75" for both. The axis is my left is 098 and the axis in my right is 079. From this information, can you determine an estimate to what my vision is? Such as 20/50?

It really isn't possible to get your unaided acuity from your prescription. Best to ask the person who tested them.

A rough estimate would be somewhere between 20/70 and 20/200 for vision without glasses.

And, your prescription is of absolutely no help in estimating your corrected vision (vision with glasses).

Well, based on the information you give us, we know that you are slightly nearsighted and have astigmatisms in both eyes. I cannot tell you what the number (20/__) is--that has to be checked out by your ability to read parts of the chart a certain distance away. Here's a link to see how you see without glasses. Just input your prescription on the left side. http://www.billauer.co.il/simulator.html
