This man sounds like a really bad person. I am so glad I am not God because I would be throwing lightning bolts all day long. I can't tell you whether he is a Christian or not but I can tell you that his sin will find him out. If you flout God's commands like that and become a stumbling block for others, then there will be a price to pay. He needs prayer and accountability. Are you a member of his church? His church family should handle this matter.

Only God knows what is inside someones heart. But if you are a true Christian it would show in is life style. He is a false convert. He needs his conscience jolted. Ask your friend if he is a good person. If he says yes, then ask him if he has ever told a lie. if so say what does that make you...a liar. Then ask him if he had ever stolen, used Gods name in vain and the obvious has he looked at a women with in his heart. Then ask him if God is going to judge him just on those four commandments would he be innocent or guilty on judgement day. Jesus said who ever looks at a women with lust in his heart has coomitted adultery in his heart. There is nothing we can hide from God. Your friend needs to truly repent for his sins before it is too late. Ask him if he thinks his life style would be acceptable to God and if it is following the word of God. Just keep praying for him. If it gets too bad then talk to his Pastor. That is a big step, but you are just looking out for him. Blessed be those who call on His name.

sorry to say what christians havent been the most straightforward people around, so i wouldnt say he is a fake christian but another example of a christian living a double standard life...if we are too picky then we will have to admit that almost all christians are "fake"...maybe the one you talk about goes a bit to the extreme but "he who is without sin throw the stone" or whatever the quote is...
O my!!!! i am quoting the bible!!! i think i have to quit for a time, this yahoo section is getting on my mind

If he believed that Jesus died for him and thus absolved him of the stain of original sin, then yes, he's a Christian.
Now, as to whether he's a good Christian, or a decent Christian, or a fit representative of Christianity... that's another story. It sounds like he's a real jerk and more than a bit of a hypocrite, but that usually has nothing to do with religion.

Could be and might not be, King David committed adultery and Murder before the prophet Nathan pointed it out to him, Peter lied on Jesus 3 times, we are all imperfect and sinful.

I leave the "who is a good, bad Christian" questions up to God. We are not called to judge, but to love. If he is Baptized, he is a Christian. He was made so by God, by God's grace, in the Sacrament.
Whether or not he is good or bad, I leave to God on the day of final judgment, which we will all face, the quick and the dead.

He sounds like a Hypocrite, but I guess its better to have some good traits then be a complete sleaze ball.
As for if he is a "fake" it is not my call to make, and I personally dont care.

I'll say his actions are not very "Christ" like, but remember about "casting the first stone" We are all sinners and we all will be judged by him who has NO sin.
Peace
