Don't feed raw eggs--the egg whites prevent biotin (a B vitamin) from being absorbed. Dogs don't need eggs or extra protein if they are being fed a good quality dog food. Increased protein is not a good thing. Excess protein can contribute to higher heart and respiratory rates, higher rates of sweating and dehydration.

Yes they are. Raw food diets are really good additions to regular dog foods. The eggs will help with extra protein and shiny coats!

i would suggest cooking them, its easier for their stomachs to handle. if you have an older dog and it stops likeing its food then give it the normal food amount cook 1 egg and 1 piece of un buttered toast broken up in it. give it a mix and your dog will tear it up. the egg has protein and is good for the coat, but is also good for settling stomachs.
