I believe the Accord will out sel the Camry in 2008 because of the problems the Camry is having with the fly by wire throttle just introduced this year. Look for a recall later this year. The Accord is a great looking car, and has a longevity record as good as the Camry's. A few people are mentioning about the Ford Fusion. You really cant place the Fusion in the same ball park with the Honda or Toyota,,,the reason? Multiple years of longevity and multiple years of being on JD Powers & Assoc quality 10 best. The fusion is a good car, Ford got a large infusion of technology when they parntered with Mazda a few years back and of course Jaguar too.

Probably not. The Camry has a longer standing for reliability and as of late it has been more reliable than the Accord. I've seen more than a handful of Camrys with over 350,000 miles on the original non-rebuilt engine. How many Accords can make it past 300K miles unmolested? They are out there but few and far between. The Accord is a driver's car, the Camry is a people's car. You pay more for a Camry because it can be purchased with the options you want. The Accord is packaged, so you get options that you want along with options you might not buy otherwise. The Accord is still a good car, but the Camry is costs less to operate overall.

Accord's do not have factory installed suspension packages as does the Camry SE. The new V6 Camry will literally suck the doors off a V6 Accord. The V6 Camry is a low 14. second car off the showroom floor. It has wider wheels and bigger tires as well as much bigger sway bars and re-valved struts and stiffer springs and a strut bar. What's Honda got --- nothing 205-60 tires standard. As for Ford Fusion the misleading add on TV was entirely bogus. An all wheel drive car against a Camry LE 2 wheel driver - crappy suspension 4 cyl auto. Wow!
I returned from Japan recently and Toyota outsells Honda's 3-1. It's really not fair to compare as there are 25-35 Toyota models to choose from. The Toyota Crown taxi cabs all run on propane which is less expensive than US prices.

I doubt it, since it is more costly and the Camry has such a good reputation. Thanks for the two points!
