I leave the window open a little so I can hear the birds. I usually wake up around 5-5:30. I set up my coffee the night before. Just set the timer and it's ready when you get up.
Sit outside on the deck and listen to the birds and maybe read the newspaper and drink my coffee.
I try to do this before my wild toddlers wake up.

Going to bed 8 hours before you want to get up comes to mind.
