It's what I do for a living - teaching in international schools - because I love to travel. Iv'e worked in the netherlands, Greece, Uzbekistan, Uganda and am off to Tajikistan after the holidays. Go for it, it can be fun and is always interesting. If you find you don't like it, then you can just go home.
P.S I saw mountain gorillas in the wild this year!!! I went to Samarkand last year!!
