yes there is property right beside the rail raod, often it is a rael good place to put a radoi statoin, or maybe have a radoe What was the question?

Ummm, I am not sure what your question is, I wouldnt mind answering but please be more specific. Most railroads own the property their rails are located on but in some cases they are long term leases if that is what you mean. If you mean purchasing property near the railroad some RRs dispose of excess property, for instance if an industry closed or branchline was abandoned there might be property available.

see your tax assessor and they will tell you where th property ends and begins.
old railroads had many tracks and may have abandoned if you want to pruchase the easment.
