The Sentra in USA the Sunny came with the 2.0 liter engine back in 1994. That would be my recommendation with a five speed manual gear box

If you ask me, I would go for the Nissan Sunny GTI-R or Pulsar GTI-R depending on what country you are from, as it had the SR20DET, a 2.0 litre turbo intercooled engine, 4WD as well. A really good car, my Dad works for Nissan and has for the last 20 odd years, we had one not too long ago, sold it for company cars! But if performance isnt your thing, go for the GA16DE, a 1.6 normally-aspirated engine. It has goot power to economy.
