There are a ton of recipes out there, below are some links.
I found that homemade ice cream can freeze rather hard, so I prefer to start with a pudding base. The gelatin helps the ice cream stay softer.
Follow regular recipe for ice cream, but add 1 package pudding mix that goes best with your flavor. Dissolve while the mix is hot. Also you can substitute milk for cream for this method because the pudding will add the creamy texture without the fat.
Making ice cream takes a lot of trial and error. It took me two summers to come up with something I was proud of enough to share.
Tips:
Temper the eggs before adding!!!
Strain the mix through a sieve to get rid of any bits
Cool mixture before putting into machine
Get it into the freezer FAST when it's done
If it's for all adults, a splash of liquor also helps the texture
Try, try again. It's worth it.

There are dozens of recipes you can search for and find online but I prefer to go buy the ice cream myself because making it is a bit of a hassle.

you have to find a way to freeze milk while keeping it in motion. Ice cream maker works or you can put the ingredients for the desired flavor +milk in a ziploc bag. put it in a containor filled with ice and shake it around. its a tedious and annoying process.

I think you need salt outside a metal pot to make it cold, and then you stir the inside stuff with a lot of strength.
