Why is it that intelligent, opinionated women post Paris Hiltonesque pictures of themselves, when they know they look nothing of the kind?

Unfortunately, a lot of men are intimidated by intelligent and/or strong-willed women, so they post an image that is not so threatening: the blonde bimbo who is only marketable skill is hanging on a guy's shoulder and giggling! When educated women (who are often passed by when males are seeking companionship) use that kind of image, maybe they have within them a secret longing for the ability to capture male attention solely by her beauty.

Everyone wants to be beautiful, and some girls don't understand that you don't have to be Paris Hilton to be beautiful. So they try to make themselves into something they're not, not even realizing that the most beautiful part of them is the fact that they are theirself.

Smart women know what attracts men. Smart women don't always have the strongest self-esteems either. That combination can reduce them to selling out. It's sad.

Because society says we should be judged by how we look...and for the most part, we are.
