If the UTI is not treated (usually with a Sulfa drug) and if it spreads to the kidneys and creates a Kidney infection (Glomerulonephritis).

UTI's can be easily treatable by antibiotics. You're not going to die if you get treatment soon. I do know that if left untreated, you could damage your kidneys and urinary tract and it can cause a bunch of other issues. So just call your doctor and let them know you think you have a UTI and they'll put you on some antibiotics and it'll clear right up.

Many people get UTI's on a regular basis. I usually get 3-4 a year myself. Some people's bodies are just more sensitive to bacteria than others.

But no, you won't have this the rest of your life. You may get them reoccuring as I said, but they are treatable. Just call your doctor and stop freaking out.

A UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) for those that don't know is a common infection it is still an infection cranberry juice and lots of water will help the symptoms but willl not treat the infection if the infection goes untreated long enough. It could spread to ther parts of the body. If it spreads and your infection gets in your blood this could be fatal. If you have had it a month or longer seek help imediately. The quicker you get it treated the less complications you will have.

Odds are a physician ought to no longer prefer to look at your vagina except you're having discharge or different indicators.

I don't think you can die from a UTI.... I've never heard of anyone dying from it....but it's so painful, it makes you feel like you're dying.
Are you being treated for it?
Drink plenty of water and cranberry juice and follow your doctors orders.
Good luck to you.
