i have a chiwapoo (chihuahua mixed poodle) and i dont know how old she has to be to take her on walks. does anybody know?

you can start her on a leasha s early as 6 weejs but don't go in public areas and where ohter dogs are until after she has had her 3rd booster shot.
she can start her shots at 6 weeks.

start small at first. if your new puppy isnt used to wearing a collar and a leash she may resist you when you try to walk her. practice inside the house first, going from room to room, with lots of praise when she follows along. once she has that down, you can start with small walks outside of the house; to the end of the block and back, around the block, and work your way up from there. make sure shes got her shots before you introduce her to other dogs whether it be the neighbors or at the dog park. anytime you see her getting tired while out on a walk its time to call it quits for that session, pick her up and carry her the rest of the way home.

I think you can start as early as you need... i think just walking them around the yard to get them used to the collar and leash is something good so you dont have to worry about that when it is time to venture outside of the yard

we have whippets and i start leash breaking them at about 4months of age so they can be ready to show but I would say you could start as early as 4months old
