both but i do tend to pray more when im in trouble admitted .... glad God is merciful :)

I do both. I am a Muslim and in my religion it is required to pray 5 times a day. Now I think if I could do it 5 times a day I would be a lot more peaceful person. I try to do my best. I especially like to pray and thank God before I go to sleep.
But of course when I am in trouble I pray twice as hard. I think that is the human nature.

I pray anywhere from 4 to 5 times daily and always have a prayer in my heart

I used to do both. When I am really in trouble, I pray if I'm desperate. No good has ever come out of my prayer, as everything that I have ever prayed for has died.

I pray all the time. That way I am not like one of those people who show up on your doorstep only when they need you for something and disappear when they DON'T need you any more! God isn't any more happy to be treated that way than anyone else, which is why a LOT of 'prayers" go unanswered!

Mostly just because.
I live a really boring life and don't find much time for trouble.
Of course, that doesn't prevent trouble from finding me. Yea, I always pray for my family's safety.

I pray 5 time a day; I am Muslim. Praying helps me deal with stress and stay strong in my faith to God.
