I would go with the treadmill. Running is one of the best ways to lose weight while losing calories WHILE getting your whole body in shape. It will help your stomach as well, especially if you keep your arms swinging good while you're running. If you notice most runners that run in races and olympics have amazing bodies...so I would go with the treadmill because it has allover effects and not just your stomach like the ab lounge. Good luck!

The ab lounge isn't going to give you the same results as a treadmill. A treadmill is going to give you an aerobic workout which will help you lose fat from all over your body. The ab lounge just tones your abs, it's not going to affect the rest of your body or make you lose any weight.

The treadmill would be a better investment and a much more reasonable choice if you're looking to lose weight from all over, including your abs. Not to mention, you don't need a fancy machine like the ab lounge to tone your abs - you only need your own body, here's a list of 10 ab exercises you can do: http://exercise.about.com/od/abs/ss/abexercises.htm

I would recomend the treadmill because it doesn't just work on your stomach it basically tones your whole body. The ab lounge just works on your stomach. you might be better off doing sit ups and crunches instead of buying an ab lounge.

the Ab Lounge is a complete waste of money in terms of it's ability at stimulating the abdominal muscles "more" than traditional abdominal training and definetly at burning calories.

abdominal training burns very, very little calories as it's a small muscle group in terms of the total bodyweight so for weight management any machine designed to only work those muscles will be ineffective at best

Well, I ride a bike around town, and do a lot of walking, and get some swimming in when I can...

I am fit, but admit not perfect...Who exactly is anyway?!

So I guess too, those machines for me would just be a waste of $$s, eh?!

Oh, PS: I do know the abwheels work...But I got mine back in Kmart when it was real cheap...Had it for years. So maybe you can price shop around for one too! The link will give you some ideas!! Good luck, eh?!!

it ought to no longer artwork. abdomen donning activities do no longer rapidly burn fat. they simply help the muscle below the fat. the main handy option to easily lose fat is with an exquisite diet and stable cardio interest. you is probably no longer able to do in spite of on those ab machines which you does not be able to do with the help of way of doing crunches on the flooring.
