Homophobia is a made up word that is meaningless. Homophobes don't have irrational fear or phobias or homosexuality. They simply disagree and this is not wrong. Sure there are some extremists, but there is just as much hatred from gays to so called "homophobes". If you even mention that you disagree with homosexuality either for religious or moral beliefs you are looked down upon. I say let everyone have their own free speech. Im happy for gays to be live their lives but why can't others just live theirs.

I doubt there will ever be a cure for that. Their bible teaches that homosexuality is "wrong" and "evil" so it would make sense that they'd be afraid of it or dislike it. I disagree with what the bible says about homosexuality because I think everyone has a right to choose who they want to be with, whether male or female without being feared, hated or discriminated against but, that's just me.

I'm so glad I'm not Christian.

Your thread has shown how christians and others will not see how homophobic they are, and then they will trot out the lie about hating sin when they are bieng selective about what to preach. Homophobia hurts and kill people and yet people are more concerned about the word as oppossed to the effects on gay people

Well if Christians who don't believe in the homosexual lifestyle are homophobic, those who don't believe in Christ must be Christophobic. Phobias being what they are, I assume that the cures are much the same. Either that or the lack of logic is the same

Some Christians don't have Homophobia. Christians are taught to forgive, don't judge, and love everybody. Some however don't follow those rules. Gays deserve a chance just like everyone else.

what we have is concern for homosexuals and the hate for homosexuality.

it's not because we said so it's because the bible said so:

the same cure for homosexuality DEATH. Once we are separated from our bodies.....we either go to be with the Lord or , well, ...........you know, anyway, it all stops then. If you didn't live in a flesh body, you wouldn't be having these...."feelings". All I can say is: choose living in Paradise for eternity: choose: JESUS.
