When my brother was little he used to love legos. A really good gift would be to get him those leggo sets where you have to put it together with instructions and stuff. You can tell him that now that he's getting older you think he's responsible enough for a big kid toy. He also really liked other things like that that he could set up.

Does he have the helmet, knee and elbow pads to go with the bike? My son is not allowed to ride without his. How about learning games. They are good for all ages. Other outdoor sports equipment too is good. Keeps kids active.
