if u practicing hitting the heavy bag all the time, will u eventually not even need gloves or wraps?

your best habit is to wrap your hands. And for bag work you use appropriate bag gloves. This will limit injuries for sure. Your hands are your tools in this sport, so you want to treat them good. Punching heavy bag is demanding on your wrists and fingers, and your hand has a large set of bones and ligaments. You can brake your hand with one bad punch. Even top boxers will not risk it. I've been boxing 3, 4 times a week for the last ten years, and when I land badly on a bag, I feel it. Wouldn't even consider doing work outs without wraps and bag gloves.

You still need to wrap your hands and wear gloves each time you hit the heavy bag to avoid injuries. Even professional boxers do train with the heavy bag with gloves all the time.

yeah but i always wrap mine when im workin out. save the bare knuckles for a street fight when theyll do most damage :) not the bag heh
