it sure does. also many other side effects within the first month of taking it. Fluoxetine is a cheaper brand name medication for Prozac. Stick with it, are you on 20mg x 1 daily. Try to take at night before you go to bed. Expect side effects, but remember they do pass. Be patient, patient. Good luck and all the best.

I was on Fluoxetine and I noticed that my palms got very sweaty. There are lots of side effects to be aware off but to be honest they last only a short time and the benefits of being on the meds definitely outway the side effects. I was on it for almost 10 months, came off them and haven't looked back since (although I have had major issues) so I wish you all the very best. xxx

i take fluoxetine 20mg one in the morning, i have had no side effects, apart from the fact it makes you feel better, give it a chance, sometimes take a while to settle, diffirent people react diffirently to diffirent medications,i have been on it for 2 years at the same dosage,it has never been increased and when you start them after a few weeks you will notice a remarkable diffirence to how you feel ,good luck

i am on fluoxetine and it did cause lots of side effects at first. i had shakes/trembling hands, trouble sleeping, and strange vivid dreams to name a few. but these went away after a little while. it took a while for me to find the right dosage but in the end it was worth it. the side effects kinda suck but not as bad as being depressed or having many of the other problems it treats. stick with it!! and my side effects went away after a while. check out these websites for more info:
ps - i also take mine at night, but many people find they sleep better if they take it in the morning. i take it at night so that i am ready to wake up and get out of bed in the am.

Have you tried a Yahoo search for fluoxetine + "side effects"?
