They COULD take Iraq off the map in a matter of hours, if that, w/ all the fire power they have on those ships.

ok the navy is mostly sea only except for the SeaBees, Seals, Aircraft, and yes the Marines (still a department of the navy). But, every service is locked down with rules of engagement and the geneva convention, which, pretty much make this type of warfare unwinable. we can't blow up thier mosques, schools, hospitals, any infrastructure (train tracks, highways, electric companies, ect.), or by intent destroy any civilian structures. the insurgents know this as well or even better than our soldiers do and exploit it to the best of thier capability. nuking them is out of the question we don't have the balls for that anymore. it really come to this if the liberals don't shut up and let our people do the job they were trained for then we will lose this war. and inside 10 years will be back there again.

That makes absolutley no since, the navy barely has any ground forces and the ones they have are depleted. without army and airforce bases on land the country would be over run. You need to think!

liberals need to get out of the way and allow people who understand al qaeda to manage it. the problem is the gain is too great for the pelosi/reid regime to hide behind the iraq issue and villify bush. we can only hope the electorate wakes up before 08 and sees these people for the cowards and carpetbaggers they really are.
