Water intoxication (also known as hyperhydration or water poisoning) is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain function that results when the normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside of safe limits by a very rapid intake of water. Basically, if you consume too much water, too quickly, you COULD DIE! Please be careful...many marines and people who have "water drinking contests" have died from doing what you are thinking about doing. Please read the article from this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_toxicity
Any "quick fix" diet is dangerous, and usually...resultless. Any weight lost will be water and muscle mass.

Think about it this way...
The first 5-10 pounds you lose on a "normal" diet are WATER WEIGHT - so drinking nothing BUT water might actually make you GAIN weight!
However, with ZERO calorie intake - your body would go into Starvation Mode almost immediately. This is followed by weakness, and possibly even a little sickness/nausea. After a day or so of this, your body will start feeding upon itself - both fat AND muscle.
Usually the sickness will kick in worse once you restart eating - your body gets used to NOT eating, and it is very easy to "overdo it" (which can be done by eating almost ANYTHING at this point).
Pushing yourself at this point will only make things worse - you have to gradually work your way back up to your "normal" consumption level ;)

You'd feel incredibly weak because your not eating food. Without food you dont have any energy. Youd die If you followed this diet for over 2 weeks

You can do this for only 2 days. the 3rd day you would pass out. and you would feel very weak and tired, and grumpy. if you are doing this for weight reasons, dont do it because this slows your metabolism down a TON! So the next time you eat something, its ganna stick to you, and once you start eating normally youll gain even more weight back than what you lost. and youll most likely binge, and gain alot. so dont do it

im currently on the master cleanse system aka lemonade diet. planning to do it for 7 days. it's suppose to clean the toxin in my system. it's not easy to do because i love and crave food but im very dedicated. you should look it up to see if it's something you might be interested in doing. the lemonade is suppose to have enough nutrient for you to last throughout the day. Good luck!

you would definitely feel weak, dizzy, irritated and probably have trouble sleeping. plus, its probable that you gain back most of the weight you lost as soon as you go back to eating normal.. I wouldnt recommend it.. try a healthier diet

You would feel weak because you need food to burn calories to form energy. Water doesn't have calories.

Depends on how much fat you have, and how much hydration is left in your body. If your in good shape you could last about 2-3 days with no food. Then your body starts breaking down and you start getting delirious.........
