I love the LDS people.
...but I think they have been lead astray by a false prophet.
Gal 1:8
But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!
Why would Paul say this if he didn't know that Lucifer can transform himself into an angel of light?
2 Cor 11:13-14
13For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
14No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
...but they are super nice people
...there are a whole lot of super nice people...what good is the "fruit" if the vine is bad in the first place

Since you asked about Mormonism vs. actual Mormons, I will say that this cult leads many sincere people astray. Especially with their added testaments, which shows the group to be a gnostic sect and not Christian.

Actually, there are similar doctrines between Mormonism and Jehovah Witnesses.

When my grandfather came to this country, from Ireland, he was ignorant about religion in America and became a Mormon. He learned that their teaching were lies based on a book written by a whoremonger. He became a Baptist. I know several Mormons and they are miserable, confused people. Mormonism is a farce.

A false religion that teaches works-righteousness and dresses itself up like Christianity while being in direct opposition to the core beliefs of the Christian faith. Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were false prophets. Mormons are not Christians.

It's a manmade polytheistic religion based upon the same untruth that Satan used to bring about the downfall of the human race - that man, by his own efforts, can become like God. Only Mormonism goes a step further and claims that men can actually become gods!

That it is based on an ambitious, childish ego's nonsense and his impressive leather-bound book containing nothing but silliness. But, so what if the golden tablets were fiction? Other protestant sects, offer nothing either - other than "belonging", charitable work and good intentions.
Religion almost always degenerates into triviality, even when based on profound insights regarding the nature of being and reality.

Nice to see all the negative people are out and about. I love the LDS people, their hard working, the most moral people I've seen, and they try to practice their religion as most christians don't.

It's about as bogus as any other religion. It's followers seem to be a little more foolish and brainwashed than the average dupe, very racist group of cult members. If it wasn't so wealthy a religion they would have my pity.
