It is not "people"'s places to judge or "condemn" the ones who practice homosexuality. But as for the act of homosexuality itself, the practice is addresses in the Bible:
"And you must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing." (Lev. 18:22)
"What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators,...nor men who lie with men,... will inherit God’s kingdom." (1 Cor. 6:9,10)

I condemn the act of homosexuality for the same reason and in the same way I condemn gossiping, lying, stealing, and all other manner of sin. The Bible makes it very clear that the act is wrong. However, that does not mean that I should hate the person who performs the sinful act anymore than I should hate myself, being a sinner as well.
And no, not all love is love. There is such a thing as "bad" love. A love of killing. A love of torture. A love of sex with children. A love of rape. Pure feelings cannot and should not be the basis of are morality. After all, the difference between beastial "doing what comes naturally and feels good" and principaled self restraint is called "civiliazation".

If it was all about "love" there would be no problem. But homosexuality is more about rampant promiscuity, drug taking, and DISEASE-SPREADING. I have had gay guys tell me they have had sex with THIRTY different men in one week. It is certainly no mystery to me why AIDS went through the gay community like WILDFIRE. And i can tell you that for quite some time now, the trend has been towards "barebacking" or sex without condoms. They pay a VERY great deal of lip service to "safe sex" but the hard reality is , is that VERY FEW of them practice it. There are also PLENTY of HIV+ types out there barebacking it for fun, too. Many people have also told me they don't want to hang out with gays because they are always sick, and this is certainly the case; Hep C, Hep A, syphilis, gonorrhea, herpes, genital warts, various types of HIV are only a part of the smorgasbord of diseases many homosexuals are carrying around as a result of their particular lifestyle. This may be all right with YOU, but it certainly ISN'T "all right" with ME.

Love is love, true, but love of life verses love of death is obviously different.
To answer your question- some people may condemn the behavior because they are afraid of what's different or they are told to hate it. Some may have a seemingly irrational gut reaction opposing the concept. Still others condemn it because the act is an abstraction of natural urges that works against life. There are obvious problems with people criticizing homosexuality and not other sexual abstractions, but their reasoning persists- probably because they don't want to follow their own standards.

I believe your confusing love with sex and people condemn it because God dose.
The bible also says to love your Father and Mother but it is incest to go to bed with them.
When The Bible talks about love it has nothing to do with sex.
and it clearly states in the Bible that homosexuality is a sin.
You may disagree with what I say But I'm only telling you what the Bible says and you did open this question in the R&S section.

Homosexuality (people of the same sex engaging in sex) is an abomination to God. And yes, love is love. Love is not an abomination.

You need to understand that God loves the individual, however, their behavior and life choice will lead them into bondage that will harden their hearts to God's eternal salvation. Because Homosexuality involves so much emotional investment, it is almost impossible to tell the them the truth without being labeled with very harsh epithets.
Remember, the sin of homosexuality is no blacker than my sin. And if the Christian truly hated homosexuals, they would keep the message of salvation to themselves, not try to change them, and let them go on their merry way to destruction. But because we care, we take the slings and arrows of 90% of the media and public to speak the truth. Hopefully with love and salt*.
The Bible states that homosexuality is behavioral, for Paul states that many of the new believers had been delivered from homosexuality in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11,
Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites... will inherit the kingdom of God. And SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
If it were a genetic thing, then the Bible would not have shown that some were delivered. Your argument is with the Bible. If you do not believe the Bible, then your concern is moot. If you believe the Bible is the Word of God, then it states that you can be born again, transformed by the renewing of your mind, washed and cleansed.
* Salt is an expression that relates back to how the ancients dealt with infected wounds. They applied salt which cleansed and disinfected the wound. It would sting to high heaven, but it was necessary to save the life of the individual. The truth hurts, but the truth will also set you free--and in the end, save your eternal soul.

I don't "condemn" homosexuality, but God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve, so, those who chose to live like that are sinning. God will forgive them if they want it, get it? i'm probably not the most clear person in giving answers, but yah see where i'm coming from?
