Do you want lower taxes, lower gas prices, lower health insurance? Do you want to collect social security? Do you want a higher standard of living?? Then deport all the illegal aliens in the country. This will make all of the things you want happen.

With everyone demanding money I doubt that this will fix our countries problems. We as Americans demand more than our friends from else where in the world. We would want more money in any job that we perform, gas prices we cannot help because of wars, and problems with other countries that supply our petroleum. We would want better health care, and would want employers to provide us with insurance. Considering we will be out there doing all these jobs that otherwise we would not even consider. Would you want to work on the side of the road and not get hazard pay, I think not. Would you want to be out in the hot sun picking that fresh strawberry that you devoured on your cheesecake, once again think not. And that is the way Americans think. If it's not the illegals we would be saying these about another class of people. You are the type that would sit there and complain about the low income families who still need assistance because they would not get paid any better, and we all know that. This has been an age old problem and it's not going to get solved by deporting people, what's going to happen with the next wave of immigrants?

You think illegals are the reason why prices are high?... "This will make all of the things you want happen." Gosh, how naive some people are...
Let's say, a certain amount of work can be done for $5 by an illegal. Now, if there is no illegal to do the work, what's going to happen? One of two things: 1)You are hired to do the work for the same $5 which will buy you the same standard of living as for an illegal. Or 2) We hire a legal worker for $10. Now, if you want to buy the end product of this work, it would cost $5 more to produce. Where do you think the money would come from? Your packet, ... good guess!
If you want things to happen, make youself valuable by getting marketable skills, there is no other way.

AJ's argument is good as far as it goes but it contains a fatal flaw. It fails to consider the effect of millions of dollars flowing overseas each week from paychecks earned here. If the money stayed here, prices would be able to come down in time.
Of course, there is also the issue of outsourcing jobs abroad. Lets not forget there are criminals other than illegal aliens in this case.

Actually, it probably won't do /all/ of those things. For instance, the children of illegals are American citizens, and they're growing up and will be paying into Social(ist) Security in time to help stave off it's inevitable insolvency.
So, if you really want to collect social security, you should be all for amnesty and increased immigration - for people substantially younger than yourself, that is.

lower taxes? Wouldn't deportation of 12-X amount of people come from tax dollars? There isn't exactly a budget surplus...
Gas prices? Wouldn't demand go up for gasoline for the would be buses and airplanes?
Social Security? If I remember correctly back in 2003, wasn't it failing already before the illegals were an issue?
I guess you dont want cheaper homes, food, and services though.
They would come right back with the border there is now and people will already stay who had babies here...
lol I can see clearly now...its OK for you guys to say "deportation Now" because you are so poor and lazy that you dont even make enough income to pay taxes so it wouldnt go out of your pocket....makes perfect sense now.

I don't think deportation well make any price go lower. What your talking about has to do with economic cycles.
