I can tell you that the whole "free love" movement started as a backlash to Victorian repression in the early 1900s. By the time the sixties rolled around it REALLY took off; fueled by the media. The whole 'youth craze' started then too, and has not really stopped; now we routinely see older people making complete fools of themselves trying to look, think, and keep up with the teenagers, and there is really no longer any such thing as "older and wiser", there is now only "older". The "sexual revolution" was part of the sixties too, and decade by decade, the age where people started having sex for the first time got earlier and earlier...in my day, eighteen was about average, nowadays it is TWELVE. Teens are convinced this level of sexual activity at such an age is normal and natural; it ISN'T. It is no wonder so many teenagers are screwed up; they are dealing with adult- level problems and conflicts at an age when they are still technically children and should be under the protection of their parents.
And the saying "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" STILL applies. Attitudes have not changed very much; men STILL disrespect promiscuous women, and women STILL persist in thinking that if they can be "sexy"enough, they can 'hold onto" a man; this is NOT TRUE. You cannot "hold" anybody with sex; the "grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side of the fence"! Sexual fascination is predicated on novelty; if you want something more than a roll in the hay, you will have to have much more going for you than 'sexiness", because there's ALWAYS somebody "sexier" than you coming up! sex should be the 'cherry on the sundae" of a relationship, and NOT the whole sundae, or else it will quickly fizzle. Why should anyone bother with all the trouble of a relationship when he can get the benefits of relationship for FREE? Any woman who thinks she is 'popular" because she 'puts out' isn't really popular, she's just a version of a public washroom. We all have to go there sometime, but you don't really want to hang out there; you just go there to get your business over with and leave!

Jer 23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words(The Law and the Prophets), then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
Because they are told at very young ages that the Laws are nailed to the cross, and all you have to do is say you sorry after committing fornication.
This is a Satan inspired LIE.
Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: (if you don't obey Yahweh)
Jhn 5:14 Afterward Yahshua findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: SIN NO MORE, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
Children are taught that if it feels good then do it! so what do you expect with this type of teaching?
1Jo 3:4 ¶ Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
You will never here that taught in the churches of today, but you will hear that grace abounds.
Rev 12:9 (KJV) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

because cultural marxists have taken over public education camps..errr schools...look up "gramsci" the commie and his philosophies and you'll understand how the destruction of the family structure is key to the communist take over of societies around the world. being raised by only one parennt, MTV and other filth networks dont' help either.
Gramsci famously laid out a strategy for destroying Christianity and Western culture, one that has proven all too successful. Instead of calling for a Communist revolution up front, as in Russia, he said Marxists in the West should take political power last, after a "long march through the institutions" – the schools, the media, even the churches, every institution that could influence the culture. That "long march through the institutions" is what America has experienced, especially since the 1960s.
The student rebellion of the 1960s, driven largely by opposition to the draft for the Vietnam War, gave Marcuse a historic opportunity. As perhaps its most famous "guru," he injected the Frankfurt School's cultural Marxism into the baby boom generation. Of course, they did not understand what it really was. As was true from the Institute's beginning, Marcuse and the few other people "in the know" did not advertise that political correctness and multi-culturalism were a form of Marxism. But the effect was devastating: a whole generation of Americans, especially the university-educated elite, absorbed cultural Marxism as their own, accepting a poisonous ideology that sought to destroy America's traditional culture and Christian faith. That generation, which runs every elite institution in America, now wages a ceaseless war on all traditional beliefs and institutions. They have largely won that war. Most of America's traditional culture lies in ruins.

Teens or others are not taught or brought up to respect their bodies or others as they should and keep their virginity for that special person they have committed to for the rest of their lives. The bible is our road map on every situation of how we humans are suppose to be living our lives. Our media paints this picture for children and adults, that this is the way we should be or live. If we do not know how to teach our children positive morals then we need to have help to do so. God's word will teach them the truth and the truth loves you enough to let you know there is a positive way of doing things for everything ,"(I call it tough love)". We live in too of a busy society to be involved in the lives of teens, instead we talk at them, not with them. Our society needs to slow down and get back to the truth our nations were founded on, "In God We Trust". Takes a village to raise children and if that village has not been taught the truth then how do we expect these children to know any better! Sex is misused and abused for nothing more than self pleasure in our society today. Sex was never meet to be given so freely and used this way at all. Teens are searching for that false love and they will go to whom ever that excepts them for who they are to get it. Without a positive role-modeling, positive moral bible believing family to raise children, there will always be an overwhelming promiscuous sex. Where is the fear of God at, in society today! Just speaking the truth.

1. Because sex is a NATURAL and NORMAL instinct for a human being. Many people find it hard to resist the very powerful natural hormones and chemicals in their own bodies, on top of the fact that they are curious and are discovering the joys of liking the opposite sex.
2. The more something is considred taboo ("wrong"), the more rebellious teens want to do it. In other words, when we make sex a dirty, wrong, bad thing, it makes them want to do it more.
3. Teens can also be *very* promiscuous because they were sexually abused as children, or have parents that ignore or neglect them---and so they equate sex with love. And as most of us know, sex and love are two very different things.
There are some reasons for you. Good luck on your research! :)

Many are looking to fill the void that only God can fill and looking for acceptance from the world. It has become a norm in today's society and is not considered a sin. Although it is very much so. They do not understand the covenant that it represents, they just look at it as "sex." When in reality it is so much more than that. We need to not be afraid to talk about it and drop the "holier than thou act" and give knowledge about sex and the covenant it represents, so that society can begin to make informed decisions...

I'll tell you what I think of that statement - that's a statement made by someone who uses people, and does not know what love is.
When you love someone you want them to be happy, you think about more than what you can get out of them. Their happiness is your happiness. And it would never, ever enter your head to think of them as cattle.
Teens are promiscuous because their hormones drive them to be. In those years, it's a stronger drive than love. Many will do it to be accepted, to win the love of their boyfriend or girlfriend. They haven't yet learned that this doesn't work. It can be hard to think clearly in this time of life. Hopefully, most will grow out of it.

because teens are taught now a days to live with men first before marriage to see if it will work out, they are not teaching the bible as much as they used to in households. most teens dont know anything about what the Bible says about marriage.

The bible is useless as a moral guide.
Teens are promiscious because they haven't learned to control their hormones. The whole cow thing is condescending to women. Sex is a mutual experience, not a commodity.
