if yer driving... a license. as of january next year ANY WAY you enter you will need a passport

Citizens of the US entering Canada will need a goverment issued ID (ie drivers license) and a second form of ID.
Expect the customs officer to ask you where you are going , why, how long you will staying, and where you plan to re-enter the US. When you re-enter you will have to "declare" items that you purchase in Canada (ie say how much you spent in souveniers).

huh? you mean us Canadians travelling in Canada? we don't need anything coz we're in Canada, we just need to have a valid driver's license
