Ramjet, Faith in SOME form of deity IS important for sure but; That is NOT enough to "get you by". Simply "believing" and praying are NOT ALL that Deity requires of us, as humans. That Faith MUST be followed up with ACTION. THAT is where behaviour and ethics come into play. Those folks who feel that ALL one has to do is to accept Jesus as a personal Lord and Saviour and THEN go around trashing the World and consequently, everyone else in it are NOT looked favorably upon by Deity. No matter WHAT they interpret as being in the Bible. I don't even see HOW it's possible to profess Fatih in a God and behave in that fashion. It's total hypocrisy and completely incongruent with the concept of worshipping a Just and Loving God. Faith MUST be followed up with behavior that REFLECTS the characteristics of that God. That includes being a LOVING person, yourself. Loving ALL things because such a God LOVES all things, him/her self.

Develop your faith in God will develop your behavior and ethics.
But remember being with good ethics and behavior is not useful if you don't believe in God the right believe.

focus on good ethics and behaviour reflects what God is! I myself do not play the "religion" game. It has been mans down fall sence man became what he is today... Unstable! Anyone as everyone seems to do, Use's the lords name in some form of ritual gathering of some type of spritism. But as it goes to show this human form of life is going to proclaim things with little knowledge of what it is they proclaim.

1 Corinthians 13:
11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

To each is given a measure of faith. If we seek Him and His righteousness first, all these other things shall added added unto us. Peter started sinking when he looked at the water, so I would have to say it's all about Him, and good shall follow.

Growing in Faith is living more in Christ--If you live more in a Christlike manner--It is like being on a spiral stair case. Growing is a process attaining a greater awareness of our place in Christianity--commitment--community--.thus we become a better person.

Is important to have good deeds, but they must be inspired by our faith in Him
All the things u do, do them for the sake of God, not for people.
