Hi,

6 months ago I weighed 240 pounds and an almost 40 inch waist. Today, I'm 175 pounds and a 31 inch "ripped" waist. I am forever greatful to fitness trainer Tony Horton and the P90X extreme home workout program. Everyone has probably seen the P90X infomercials. I'm here to tell you, its the REAL DEAL!

One of the workouts in p90X is called "Ab Ripper X". It certainly lives up to it's name. If you want to have ripped abs, you have to at least consider this program. If you miss the infomercial(it'll be hard to unless you don't have a TV!) you can check it out at p90x.com.

I've documented my results at my blog listed below. Feel free to yahoo message or email me with any p90X related questions.

Best Wishes,

Unfortunately, you might not ever. When you see people in commercials or on magazines with this incredible muscle tone and definition, it's as much genetics as it is hard work and diet. That is, you could take all the supplements, and do all the dieting and exercise. But, if your body wasn't genetically programmed to have that kind of body, it ain't gonna happen no matter what you do.

I saw a show on the Discovery Channel about weight-loss and body toning infomercials. The guy they interviewed had a perfectly chiseled and toned body. And, he said he really didn't need to do much to maintain it. He also admitted that, even the products he was selling wouldn't do any good for someone not genetically predisposed to that kind of physique.

He also said that the people they use for the "before and after" ads, where they look like a total slob before and perfect after, are sometimes paid to fatten up and not exercise for the before look. Then, if they simply return to their normal lifestyle - including marginally using the product they're endorsing - they would return to their toned and chiseled after look. They then accept money to swear by the product that they say gave them the results.

If you're starving yourself and taking supplements in order to acheive the results of great abs, but you're not seeing any results, I suggest you stop. Especially at such a young age. Your body is developing and needs nutrition right now. Don't risk your health for a goal that you might not ever be able to reach.

well if being a toothpick is your goal yes you will. The better option would be to workout and slowly burn the fat off that way people see you as built not just skinny.
Abs are a muscle just like a bicep, use weights in your ab excercise and do lower reps with high weight to make them grow big. Big abs will pop out rather then small ones. Gl getting abs.

Dude, you have to do ab exercises too, cardio won't do it alone.
