At the ecumenical councils, the Catholics voted and decided contrary to the Aryan belief that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit were all individuals who were separate but equally as powerful.
So who gave mankind the power to decide what role God should take?

Actually, Brian, that is a Catholic and Protestant belief. There are other branches of Christianity that did not or do not have that belief in their system.

People give themselves the power to speak on behalf of God by claiming they talk to God and know what he or she wants. It makes them very powerful, because people won't criticize what you do or say if it's supposed to be inspired by God. Almost all of the Christian religion was determined by a vote when they decided which books to put in the Bible. They say they knew which books were divine because God told them via the holy spirit. What's interesting is that the other gospels tell very different stories. I believe that the ecumenical councils created their idea of God and the trinity by destroying the lost gospels. I would very much like to see back in time to see the true story behind the writers of the scriptures. My belief is that they believed what they wrote, but were really just writing down urban legends, myths, and ideas and calling them the holy truth. While most people today recognize their inner voices as thoughts, they called them divine inspiration.

The men who created the god in the first place.
Where have you been? All sorts of church councils have been declaring what god is/was/does/did for the last 6000 years. Every so often they perform a re-write of the holy books too, to make it reflect their opinions better.

Christians believe the Bible that GOD consists of three PERSON, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God the same in substance and equal in power and glory.
------------------------
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM, ye shall die in your sins. (cf. Exodus 3:14)
And Thomas answered and said unto him (i.e. JESUS), MY LORD and MY GOD. (John 20:28)
For by him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Colossians 1:16)

It's their religion they can do as they please within those boundaries. They can not dictate to the world what to do and individuals that are not happy with decisions have other religions to turn to, so, its' not like they're deciding anything except what to do within their own realms.
