The good news is Jesus and Jesus is the word (the Bible [not the cover, ink, or paper, but the word, what is written], see John 1:1, 14; Galatians 3:8; Hebrews 14:12-13; Revelation 19:13). So everything that is written in the Bible is the good news (the gospel, Jesus). Hence, preaching about eternal hell fire is preaching the gospel. You said, "If we don't mention the consequences of rejecting Jesus in this life ( Rom 6:23, Heb 9:27, and Rev 20:15 ) and a REAL literal hell awaiting them -- do you think they will take more notice of your message ?" Most people go to hell as Matthew 7:13 teaches. So most likely after you tell someone about hell, he/she will not repent. So what do we do? Hide it from them? Of course not! Jesus said to fear Him because He is able to send you to hell in Luke 12:4-5 and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). If you don't have wisdom then you don't have God because God is wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:24). You said, "Hell is my least favourite topic from the Bible" So there is something in God's word that is your least favorite topic? That's not good. All of God's word should be your favorite because He is the word (John 1:1).

Hell is a totally different word and meaning than Hello. Just like a bunch of other words. Add a letter and its totally different. Also, not only Christians say it. I bet you have said it, too.

The majority of us don't. The 100 million christians in china don't, neither do millions in India, Brazil, Europe, or Africa. So relax.
