Story time! Toddlers, at least for Americans and most Germans are no longer being breastfed. IN Germany they are rarely still in Diapers... so I would say story time. When you read to your child they cuddle with you and you are opening their eyes to a whole new world. Not only are they learning, but they are getting to spend some quality time with their mommy or daddy. My son also really enjoyed and still enjoys when we dance to the wiggles together. He tells everyone that mommy is so silly, and he loves dancing with mommy. Awe.

Cuddling for sure. I still can't help just picking my daughter up and cuddling with her for a few moments. She is now 27 months and still lets me do that. I don't know what I'll do when she grows out of it. I treasure those moments very much.

i'm not a mother, but when my boyfriends 2yo daughter spent 3 wks with us i felt closest to her when i was putting her down for the night. she always wanted me to lay next to her or play piggies till she fell asleep.
it made me feel really special that she wanted me so close and all. ahhh makes me want one lol
