This is a home warranty company that has been giving me a runaround on a cash-out check to replace my faulty oven.
They keep saying the check will come in 7-10 days....it's been 3 months. Has anyone else heard anything about them, or had an experience with them?

I did a search of AmFam's website and found nothing about Buyer's Protection. That does not sound like one of their products at all.

I think you may mean "First American Home Buyer's Protection Corporation"? They are a subsidiary of First American Corporation (NYSE ticker FAF). They sell a "Home Warranty" product that I am guessing is what you are looking for.

The toll free number that I found was 1-800-444-9030. Call and talk to your adjuster and ask them why they have not sent the check. If they still give you the run-around, ask to speak to his/her supervisor about the situation.
If the supervisor gives you the run-around, ask to speak with Daniel Langston or Lawrence Hariton. Daniel is the President and Lawrence is the COO of FAHBPC.

Good luck and be as polite as you can stand; it will help, believe me!
