Yeah, if you're dumb enough to suppose that every plug off the street who calls himself an "atheist" or "Christian" is representative of the whole group.
I refer to myself as an atheist because of the moral "punch" of the term as against Christianity, Islam and like superstitions. It hardly means that I agree with every other self-identified atheist even as regards atheism.

no... as far as i know, athiest don't have a certain book or law to follow... or some sort of moral code. so there's not a specific way they are "supposed" to act so they can't make another athiest look bad. as Christians, we have the Bible and with that, the Ten Commandments and we're supposed to live our lives accordingly and try to help others come to Jesus Christ. when one (all it takes is 1) Christian defies these rules by just outright having no respect for the rules, especially when that person is trying to lead other people to Christ, that makes the other Christians look bad because how can you lead others when you, yourself aren't up to par. so sometimes all Christians get a bad rep based on one Christian some may know. *KP*

Of course. You need to look no further than this board. Some atheists will give intelligent responses with logical reasonings. Some will just say "You are stupid for believing that crap".

well of course..... but in the end... its not the same... because. athiests are not trying to sell you something... that will.. "save you"...an athiest is just that a simple idea.
religios people have so many denominations that are just down right frightening.
you dont ever hear of a group of athiests protesting or burning something or blowing up a clinic.
same cannot be said for the religious... or at least a group of them....which makes most of you seam like zealots... sorry

It is written all have sin and has fallen short of the Glory of God.. Why do we honor ourselves looking outwardly wondering who is looking at us, when in fact that our deeds should show forth the glory of God and for his praise and not our own..for it is written if we humble ourselves before God then he will exalt us. Now I personally rather be esteem by God than man for man will fade away like the grass But God he lives on and on and on and on......etc....

Yeah...we have our idiots too. The guy that was on here the other day saying he was trashing church signs is a great example.
Ours just aren't organized like the Fundies are.

Sure. Except "your side" seems to have rather more of them, and usually a little but further out there. You are a decent example. Some of the stuff you post should be in books. Funny books.

It doesn't mean that exactly, but it is true. The thing to remember is, that when someone voices their opinion, it is usually the opinion of that individual rather than the expressed opinion of a certain group of people.

Absolutely. And some Pagans make other Pagans look bad. And some Muslims make other Muslims look bad.
In general, some people make other people look bad.
