No im not going to try to get high on flouxetine im not a ******* idot. Ive been through that whole drug **** and dont want to go through it again. The reason why I am asking is because my older brother is a druggie, and he'll take anything from the cabinets to sell and stuff. My concern is if you can get high off it than i want to lock it up.

I would lock it up anyway. Fluoxetine should only be prescribed under supervision. It can potentially be a fatal drug in the wrong hands.
high? You can get a high feeling but it doesn't usually lead to dependance.

Prozac is a first generation SSRI drug. Many folks are on dosages higher than that but it is not recommended by the literature. Since these drugs are given out so freely I would suggest you start to inform yourself on your symptoms, your entire health history and anything and everything you can about the drugs and how they could and do affect you. There is nothing more powerful than an educated consumer. Start reading kiddo. Become your own expert. Best of luck to you.

No, you cannot get "high" and you cannot get addicted on fluoxetine. Although overdoses are never a good or safe thing, I can't ever recall someone dying on an overdose of that medication.
