A is almost always a window and any other letter is aircraft dependent
Some aircraft like B-737s eliminate one seat on their over wing exit rows and the B seat becomes in effect the window seat
Coach on a B-767 BCEF are all aisle seats
D is a middle G is the window

Seat A is the seat with the letter A in the ceiling over the top of the seat.

Actually the labeling includes like 22 A if it is row 22.

Window seat, left side of the aircraft as you face forward (right side as you're walking towards the rear).

C & D are aisle seats and F is the other window seat. Of course, B and E are to be avoided if at all possible.
